So how do I join?
First of all make contact. You might want to ring a number displayed on a local information leaflet, or perhaps email someone on this website. It could be that you know someone who is already a member of your local Round Table. However you do it, you will then more than likely be invited to attend a few meetings of your selected Round Table. After this time you will be asked if you would like to join and the requirements of membership will be explained to you. There are no barriers regarding one's political, religious, occupational or marital status and the only qualification is to be male, over 18 and under 45.
The annual subscription fee varies from club to club and is usually based on their activities. An element of this fee is insurance for when you take part in Table events. You will be required to attend at least 60% of meetings. Normally there will be two meetings a month and will usually include food, drinks and some kind of entertainment as diverse as local history walks, paintballing, carpet bowls, go-karting, wine tasting - the list goes on and events are organised by members within the Table. So within a short period of time you could well be organising your first meeting!
You can transfer your membership to different Tables around the country, and if visiting a different part of the country through work or pleasure, why not arrange to drop in on the local Table - you'll be more than welcome.
So, have a look at the Table Details page on this website for your nearest Round Table, or contact the Area Membership Officer for an informal chat. For details nationally, you can ring the following Freephone number: 00800 1845 1845.
