In 1927, Louis Marchesi founded an organisation for young men.  Today, the National Association of Round Tables of Great Britain and Ireland has 750 Clubs, as well as being part of a worldwide movement.  The National Association is divided into a number of geographical Areas.  This website is about Area 20 - Northumbria, which covers Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, and County Durham.  Here you'll be able to learn more about the Area, the Area Executive, the individual Round Tables, forthcoming events and reports on past events.  If you're new to Round Table, take a look at the "About Round Table" page.  If you're an old hand, have a look around anyway!

Welcome to Round Table Area 20 - Northumbria!

Up and down the country, Round Tables are noted for their Bonfires and Firework Displays.  What better way to enjoy the night than at an organised display.  Have a look at the Events Diary to see what is happening in Area 20.

AREA 20 RAISES £11,000 FOR RT CHILDREN'S WISH

Round Tables in Area 20 had been working hard during last year to raise much-needed funds for RT Children's Wish.  Past Area Chairman Andy Burrows had set a target of £10,000 and was delighted with the final total of £11,632.74.

The presentation of the funds took place at an Area Golf Day at Alnwick Golf Club where the winners were Pathetic Sharks with their Captain Colin Reid from The Olde Cross, Alnwick.
